Name: Zephyr Zaahir
Species: Gryphon (Gyrfalcon and bobcat)
Non-magical
Homeland: Cloud Seas
Pride and Place: Rogue
Bio:
Zephyr was never the loudest, nor the most quiet of his nestmates. He was the one who stayed back and watched, perfectly content to just take it easy and at his own time, a trait that has stayed with him until today. It has allowed him to learn from his friend's mistakes so he didn't make any of his own. Zephyr is a proud gryphon, he advanced to a prominent warrior in the Syr Clan and didn't get there for no reason. He knows he is strong, but doesn't like to make a spectacle of it; his position said that for him. He is laid back and cannot be rushed, except by his leader. He follows orders to the tee, but often times looks for more effective ways to go about it. Zephyr has a strong sense of duty and loyalty, and he will do almost anything for anyone, except for dying, he likes life too much. He hasn't even taken a mate yet, for a number of reasons. Zephyr has a dark side, but it takes a lot for it to come out, but when the time comes he can be downright cold and mean, and during fights he is vicious and brutal.
He left the Syr Clan because he disagreed with the way it was run and couldn't bring himself to blackmail as it went against his sense of honor and pride. He enjoys being a rogue now, but as such he knows he isn't exactly welcomed anywhere and has developed a little bit of a testy side when dealing with strangers.
Appearance:
Zephyr was gifted with an even blend of power and agility. He is not the largest gryphon around, but he is big enough to overpower most others, and small enough to dance around those who are bigger than himself. His main fur and feather color is a majestic white, easy for hiding in snow. His feathers turn to a light tan color on the underside near the tips, which are etched in black. Zephyr has black spots on the back of his neck, ears, and tail. His tail is more fluffy than that of a normal bobcat's, but it is natural that he has extra fur, especially on his chest and shoulders, where it can even be said that it looks a little like a mane. Zephyrs forlegs are a grey-blue, an unhealthy color on a non-arctic bird, but normal here, and his talons are rather long, the nails black. His beak is slender and hooked for ripping and shredding prey and enemies and is the same blue-grey as his forelegs. His ears are long and very slightly tubular, like a bobcat's, and his head is rather small, making for less of a target. It's his eyes that stand out the most though, as they are a brilliant turqoise blue and almost seem to shine with their own light. All together, Zephyr can easily blend in anywhere on a mountain, such a a snowbank, or a cloudy sky.
